Broncos Wire's 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at fourth-year defensive lineman Jordan Jackson, No. 94.
Before the : Jackson (6-4, 294 pounds) was selected by the New Orleans Saints out of Air Force in the sixth round (194th overall) in the 2022 NFL draft. In one year with the Saints, Jackson spent all of his time on the practice squad.
tenure: In 2023, the Denver Broncos signed Jackson and he spent the entire season on the team's practice squad. In 2024, Jackson remained in Denver but made his way onto the active 53-man roster. In 2024, Jackson dressed for 17 games, as well as Denver's single playoff game, making 17 total tackles (four solo, 13 assisted, one tackle for loss), one forced fumble and one sack.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Rotational player. Jackson was solid in relief of the Broncos' stellar defensive line and should be in pole position to retain his role as a rotational player in 2025. Jackson will have competition for playing time, however, mostly in the form of Broncos' third-round draft pick Sai'vion Jones.
